Privacy Policy
In short: Shapemoss does not collect any data. It has no account, makes no network connections, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. Your documents stay on your Mac.
Who we are
Shapemoss is developed by Cristian Díaz as a project of Reality Check. The app is published under the Apple Developer account of Cristian Díaz, who is the contact for privacy matters.

Information we collect
None. Shapemoss does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share personal information or usage data. We do not know who uses the app or how.
Network access
Shapemoss does not connect to the internet. The app is built without network access: it has no servers to talk to, downloads no content and sends nothing anywhere.
Your files
Shapemoss runs in the macOS App Sandbox. It can only open or save files that you choose in an Open or Save panel, or that you open from the Finder. Your scenes (.moss files), imported projects and exported images and models stay where you put them, on your Mac or in storage you control. If you keep files in iCloud Drive or another synced folder, that service handles them under its own terms.
Settings
Preferences such as viewport quality and your artboard presets are stored locally on your Mac in the app’s container. They never leave your device.
Sharing
If you use File ▸ Share…, macOS shows its standard share options and the app you pick receives the image you chose to share. Shapemoss does not see or keep what happens after that.
Crash reports
Shapemoss contains no crash reporting or diagnostics code. If you have turned on sharing of analytics with app developers in System Settings, Apple may provide anonymized crash reports to us under Apple’s privacy policy. You can turn this off at any time in System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements. TestFlight beta testers can also send feedback and crash reports through the TestFlight app; Apple shares those with us under its TestFlight terms.
This website
shapemoss.com uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. Like any web server, ours briefly processes your IP address to deliver the pages.
If you email us, we only use your details to respond. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your contact information with third parties. You can ask us to access, correct or delete that data at the address above.
Children
Because Shapemoss collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a future version of Shapemoss ever needed to collect data, this page and the app’s App Store privacy details would say so before that version is released.
